SPACE SHUTTLE CHARITY EVENT

  • The KomonoMichi series (not to be confused with Kemonomichi by Daigo Umehera) is an exhibition series in Super Street Fighter II Turbo. The matches are played at Game Spot Versus, in the heart of Nishinippori, Tokyo.

On August 21st, Riz0ne broadcasts a mirror stream providing English commentary along with Ultracombo. This time around, a relatively new school player Kaneko who has been on the grind to be one of the strongest Guile players faces veteran Boxer player NouNouB (previously known as MB*). The format is not your typical FT10 with a win by 2 games format, but rather the player must win two sets of FT4. This gives a little bit of breathing room between sets for the players to process what just occurred, as they swap player sides.

KEMONOMICHI 4: KOTAKA SHOTEN (GUILE) VS. YUUVEGA (DICTATOR)

  • Original video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i8itFG-kOA

    From: http://www.kemonomichifgc.com/index.html

Kemonomichi is a battle venue for players continually seeking only strength.

"I can't stand to lose. Not to them."

The only thing on the line in these battles is pride.

Yes, just like back then . . .

Part of the newer generation of Super Street Fighter II Turbo players, Kotaka Shoten has already graced the Kemonimichi stage 3 times with decisive victories over grandmasters Aniken, Itoh, and Kurahashi. Daigo searches for a player who can finally defeat the strongest Guile player on the planet and seeks out YuuVega, a first generation ST player known for his relentless Dictator play, and sheer mental strength.

On Dec 30 2021, the two masters battled it out in a series of FT4 sets. The first player to secure 3 total sets wins Kemonomichi!

In ST, Guile vs. Dictator is considered a fair match with most of the community giving a super slight edge to Guile. Riz0ne and Makiri commentate this masterpiece of a set, with Makiri sharing insights on the Japanese ST community while Riz0ne analyzes his favorite match up in the game.
