In October 2020, Matcherino unveiled a partnership program allowing tournament organizers to run qualifying events until 32 players advanced for the first ever Matcherino Cup. Powered by G Fuel, this would be a tournament series for Super Street Fighter II Turbo eligible to USA, Canada, and Mexico. Expectations were high, as there would be a promise of a second cup if a $4,000 prize pool is achieved. An exhibition is held the day after Matcherino Cup to secure the runback!

On December 18, 2021, that promise is fulfilled as 32 players are out for blood competing for a $4,500 prize pool in Matcherino Cup 2.

MATCHERINO CUP

  • After a series of qualifiers, the top 32 Super Turbo players of North America, fought it out in the Matcherino Cup Finals on October 30, 2020.

    After Matcherino Cup, two titans of Super Turbo, Damdai (USA) and Hokuto (Mexico) fight it out in a FT20 Exhibition Match. The purpose of this set was to increase the pot to over $4000 and guarantee a Matcherino Cup runback in 2021!
